VGSN Steel and VGAN ‘Maintenance Free’ Aluminium Parapets are fabricated in accordance with Sector Scheme 5A by Varley and Gulliver. The UK’s Leading parapet manufacturer for over 40 years.

Suitable for use on all bridges and structures, they are designed to provide levels of containment that limit penetration of errant vehicles, and to protect others in the vicinity by redirecting vehicles on to a path as close as possible to the line of the parapet . The only EN1317 approved systems with W1 and W2 to prevent vehicle wheels overriding the plinth.

The VGAN 1000 aluminium parapet is a modular system. The system consists of 3,4 or 5 horizontal extruded aluminium rail sections located to supporting posts at heights specifi ed on system drawings. It weathers to a dull grey fi nish, and is highly resistant to corrosion, like all our aluminium systems once erected it requires no maintenance therefore providing lower whole life costs as it has an almost unlimited life expectancy.

The VGSN 1000 steel parapet has a Galvanised fi nish to BS EN ISO 1461.
